How You’ll Spend Your Time

- Performing regular repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other general duties assigned by supervisors.
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, removing old pain, fixing drywall
- Perform regular checks of systems, equipment, and facilities to identify potential problems
- Ensure the properties and facilities are kept safe and adhere to safety regulations
- Respond to maintenance request, communicate findings, and coordinate with vendors when needed. Also maintain accurate records/logs.
- After hour on call setup monthly (one weekend per month) on call
- Calculate costs and negotiate prices
What you’ll bring
- Excellent knowledge of Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and other building systems
- Excellent ability to use hand and power tools
- Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
- Strong problem solving, ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, climbing ladders, snow removal, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail
